Berkman endorsed by two unions

Orange County legislator Jeffrey Berkman of the City of Middletown has picked up two union endorsements.

The CSEA's Region Three Political Action Committee has backed him for re-election to the 20th Legislative District. The union acknowledged Berkman's interests in the issues affecting public workers as well as his commitment to addressing the needs of all hard-working men and women in the district.

Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 373 also endorsed him noting he is a "strong and caring representative as well as a strong supporter of labor."
